VYPE Magazine Announces the Shelter Insurance Miss Basketball Oklahoma Award Winner: Kelbie Washington from Norman
This season Washington was instrumental in helping the Lady Tigers to a perfect 19-0 overall record with a 15-0 record against teams ranked in the top 20. Washington averaged 14.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 4.7 assists per game. Washington is committed to the University of Oklahoma. Washington is the first player from Norman High School to win the award.
“A talent like Kelbie Washington does not come around often. With two titles to her name, the thing we will remember most is her hustle on the court and all the little things she does to help her team succeed.
